This Past Week

Well, where do I even begin? Last week was an incredible week. Starting Wednesday morning with a great time of prayer at 5:30. So to keep a very, very long story short, I will just say that God began to break down barriers in our lives that were hindering us from growing closer to Him. Then 33 people out of 55 were baptized in the lake. It was incredible and I got baptized in the lake. I'd love to go into details as to why I decided to be baptized, but there is just too many details and so little time!! ;) Thursday was awesome! God really just was working in each of us in amazing ways. We shared communion with each other for the first time since being here at Ellerslie. Friday we started praying at 5:30 in the morning and ended up praying all the way through until 4 the next morning. Yes! 23.5 hours of prayer! Of course we had time for meals and all, but we prayed basically the entire time. We were praying for 9 different students who were battling different things. Eric calls it, "Praying through". We were interceding for each other the entire day. It was pretty crazy awesome! Saturday was very nice and laid back, and God totally did an amazing work in me personally. He basically set me free from so many things from my past and it was soo awesome! Yet again, I don't even have enough words to try and explain it all. I can't tell you enough how much I've erased on this post. ;) God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. I've started to really miss people back at home, but I'm absolutely loving it here. The relationships that have grown here are crazy awesome. It's only been three weeks and we have gotten so close! Well, I'm sorry there are no pictures, I forgot to bring my camera with me to the coffee shop to download the pictures, but I promise I will post some very soon. And again I apologize this is so vague, but sometimes there are just no words to even explain God's mighty work. It was truly a sacred week/weekend. Miss you all! Lord bless you.

Colorado Camille

Some of the guys got a hold of Colorado Camille the other night and were taking pictures of her. They claim that they don't like her, but I often find them "playing" with her. Around the campus she is known as Creepy Camille. Here are some pictures the guys took of her one night.
